The Westside Community Center is undergoing a significant renovation project aimed at enhancing accessibility and the visitor experience. This project includes the replacement of the HVAC system and roofs on 3 of the buildings located on campus. The project also includes the installation of air conditioning in the middle building and east cottages.
Additionally, several accessibility upgrades will be implemented in the main building, including a new accessible entrance, a lift connecting the main floor to the lower level, and modifications to ensure a ramp into one of the buildings meets ADA standards.
These improvements will create a more welcoming and functional environment for the community.
Contractors will be working around the current schedule as much as possible to limit the number of closures and impacts on community events. Tenants and visitors may find updates on this page and via the Westside Community Center newsletter and Facebook Page.
