We have a pet relief area located near Gate 8. The Pet Relief Area serves as an asset to our furry travel companions. If you're traveling with your animal, you can utilize the room to allow your four-legged pal to relieve themselves. The room comes equipped with a small grass area, sink, paper towels, and disposable bags.

What time does Security Screening Checkpoint (TSA) open?
Opens approximately 4:00 am, depending on flight schedule for the day
TSA makes preparation to begin screening passengers at least two hours prior to the first scheduled departure

Am I allowed to fly with medical marijuana if I carry a state-issued card?
No, although a passenger has a state-issued card to carry medical marijuana it is still illegal under federal law to transport marijuana on an aircraft and all passengers will be subject to this rule regardless of the reason for possession. TSA makes no distinction between medical and recreational marijuana. Both are prohibited items.

We’ve noticed different music playing at the airport. Do you change it often?
We play a selection of music that is on a daily rotation of Acoustic Rock, Rock Hits, and Smooth Jazz. We understand that everyone has different preference to music so we have expanded our genre’s to suit more passenger’s needs.
Why did it take our plane a long time to unload our luggage? We were told that the airport was under a lightning advisory.
If lightning strikes within a 5-mile radius of the airport, outdoor activities, including baggage are halted due to safety. This is a FAA rule that all airports must abide by.
Does the COS Airport have storage lockers?
No, we do not have storage lockers due to safety concerns and lack of space.
