Wildfire Preparedness Community Meeting

The public is invited to attend a community town hall centered around wildfire preparedness. In light of recent wildfires in California, dozens of questions have been submitted to the City and partner agencies regarding preparedness and ongoing wildfire threat in Colorado Springs.

Experts from the Colorado Springs Fire Department, Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management, Colorado Springs Utilities, El Paso-Teller 911 Authority and the Colorado Springs Police Department will give a short presentation on preparedness, response and evacuation as it relates to wildfires.

The meeting may be attended in-person, or viewed via livestream. Community members are encouraged to submit questions prior to the meeting. Questions will also be taken at the meeting.
