To provide a safer environment for users, disinfectant is being applied regularly to highly-touched surfaces throughout our parks system.
- Playgrounds
- Frequency: every other week
- Product: H2O2 Orange Cleaner
- Spraygrounds
- Frequency: hourly during operational use per the current Public Health Order
- Product: One Step disinfectant cleaner
- Railings and other frequently touched services at the most heavily-trafficked parks and open spaces (Austin Bluffs Open Space, Garden of the Gods Park, North Cheyenne Cañon Park and Palmer Park)
- Frequency: Daily
- Product: One Step disinfectant cleaner
- Restrooms
- Physical buildings are sanitized daily with One Step disinfectant cleaner
- Porta-potties are generally cleaned weekly, if not, more often. The cleaning schedule is based on usage.
