Volunteer
By volunteering, teens will have the chance to learn new skills, make new friends, give back to the community, and have fun. Youth volunteer efforts benefit our City immensely. It enables the Department to provide additional recreational opportunities, programming, and maintenance, which improves the quality of life for all of our residents.
We welcome youth and teen volunteers. Teen assignments and schedules for volunteering will model the US Department of Labor, Fair Labor Standards Act. Youth ages 12-15 can only volunteer between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. during the school year, with extended hours to 9 p.m. in the summer.
