COVID-19 Response: Mountain Metro continues to provide local fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. Due to a shortage of reporting bus drivers, fixed route bus service reductions are being implemented.
Mask Policy: All bus patrons two years of age and older are required to wear a mask that completely cover both the mouth and nose. The Mountain Metro mask policy is in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Order for public transportation conveyances and transportation hubs.
Passenger Capacity: Mountain Metro fixed-route buses are reduced to 75 percent passenger capacity on all routes.
Social Distancing: Although passenger capacity has increased, riders using Mountain Metropolitan Transit should maintain six feet social distancing when possible while waiting at the bus stop or while riding the bus.
Cold Weather: During cold weather, be sure to dress warm on the bus. Mountain Metro is keeping our bus windows open as much as possible to improve air flow.
Mountain Metro is committed to sharing our most popular times and routes so our riders can make informed choices during COVID-19.
