Approximately 200 cyclists are expected to take part in the event, which will start at 2 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday-Sunday. Racers will be conducting practice loops on the course in Palmer Park Thursday morning, before the race officially begins.

This week, 30 new Police Officers graduated from the Colorado Springs Police Department’s 71st Academy Class. In 2017, Mayor Suthers and City Council vowed to add 120 police officers to the CSPD's force. With this graduation, we are now at 77.5% of the way to fulfilling the 120 officer positions.
