The City of Colorado Springs has added additional red light cameras at four intersections as part of the “Red Light Safety Camera Program.” The goal of the red light camera program is to protect drivers, passengers, cyclists, and pedestrians from injuries or crashes caused by red light running.

Traffic on the Circle Drive Bridges over Fountain Creek and Union Pacific Railroad will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting today, along with speed reductions, to allow for safety inspections of the bridges. The duration of the lane closures are unknown at this time.
